The Chairman further said that there is a flexible plan in the pipeline to commence rift of ₦40,000 monthly to encourage those that want to participate to also benefit from, which the Exco members are deliberating on. He enjoined all members to key into this to broaden members’ source of income. In addition, contributions are received latest 25th of each month and before one can participate here, two sureties amongst the participants must stand for a new member to guide against default.

            3.9       AOB

Mr Benjamin inquired on what was the motive(s) of associating with the Audssconnect, when did the Audssconnect and thrift commenced? He also liked to know if there was any constitution guiding the connect? He was also inquisitive on the cost of the annual dues.

The Chairman in responding said the Audssconnect started since July 2017 and the annual dues to be paid by members are as follows;

            Members in Diaspora              ₦10,000

            Members in Nigeria                 ₦6000

On the issue of constitution, the Chairman responded in affirmative and further said a committee came up with all conditions for membership which is on the website and platforms for further clarity.

Other sets present in the meeting were told to introduce themselves, which they all obliged to and spoke glowingly about the concept and love they found amongst us  in the connect.

The need to amalgamate all other sets to have a common body was also emphasized by Mr. Ayo Babalola and passionately canvassed by other sets present. The Chairman in responding said the 1991 set are not adversed to amalgamation of the entire set. He observed that 1992 set being presided over by Mr. Ebenezer runs presidential system which is contrary to the 1991 set that  runs executive committee  based system.
